On class: What is “moment of suspension” is the way to let my muscle engage. It will help me a lot to hit a high note in the future.
Lip trills with the recording (10 Mins)
Pure Ah with the tape ( 15 Mins)
I should feel “support” from my abs, which is going to help me to engage the muscle. At the practice, I may not contact the support at the beginning, but it gets better after I warmed up.
Lip trills: My throat will feel tense if I reach the “high pitch” even that is still in my range. It’s essential for me to explore my abs first and then sing it.
Pure Ah: I can’t hold my breath until the last note, let my body engage is quite hard.
